Spanish rice casserole

1-1/2 lbs ground beef
1 tbsp oil
1-28 oz can tomatoes with liquid
1-1/2 cups finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup long grain rice uncooked
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp chili pepper
1 cup water

In a frying pan, brown beef with oil and drain. Add to slow cooker.

In a bowl combine tomatoes, onion, green pepper, rice, salt, chili pepper and water.

Stir into ground beef mix, cover and cook on low for six to eight hours, on high for three to four hours.
