Hot Sausage Casserole

1 lb Ground beef
1/2 lb Hot Italian sausage, cut in
1/2 inch slices
1 c Chopped onions
2 ts Oregano
1 cn Cheddar cheese soup
1 cn Tomato soup
1 c Water
4 c Cooked wide noodles
4 oz Cheddar cheese, cut up

In a skillet, brown beef, sausage and onion with oregano, until done. Stir to seperate meat, use shortening if necessary. Pour off fat. Add soups and water. Chill 1 hour. In separate container, chill noodles. Combine meat and noodles. Pour in 12 x 8 inch pan. Cover and place in a cold oven. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Top with Cheddar cheese until hot and melted.
